Excellium Services, a key cybersecurity player in Luxembourg, has supported the Luxembourg Software Testing Event since its creation. At LSTE 2024, held on 14 November at the Digital Learning Hub in Esch-Belval, Excellium presented a session titled "Application Testing and Application Security: Overview of the possibilities when we combine both," led by Dominique Righetto.
Bringing security into everyday application testing
The presentation focused on practices for integrating security directly into daily application testing, rather than treating it as a separate, later-stage activity. The goal: help teams catch security issues earlier in the development cycle, alongside the functional checks they're already running.
